GRADUATION!!! Part 2

GRADUATION!!! Part 2 Hey guys, The rant is far from over! There are just so many things I want to tell you all, so I guess Ill start at the social level. Before I came to the University of  Illinois, I was always told, Youre going to meet your best friends for the rest of your life at college. And while I never dismissed it, I already had a very close-knit group of friends that I loved. I still do! The people who  told me that couldnt have been  more correct, though. Four years ago when I was a little freshman (just like some of you will be come this fall!), I met some of the most amazing people. They were smart and motivated like myself, they were goofy and nerdy like myself, and they were scared and nervous like myself. Through these and many other bonds, they became my staunchest supporters and cheerleaders, emotional support group, and squad to roll out with. My friend Brittany and me. Four years later were all older, were more involved in things around campus, and we have relationships, jobs, new homes, and newer friends, but they have stayed by my side nonetheless. It is that connection that we built four years ago that spurs on a friendship despite not always being able to see each other on a regular basis. Still, whenever we do see each other, its like we never left our dorm rooms. Apart from each other weve  grown into working adults, but together were still those goofy freshmen who  want to play Super Smash Bros. I can never say thank you enough to each and every one of them for shaping my college experience in such an amazing fashion! I love them all dearly and will miss them just as much as I will miss this university. My girlfriend Chelsea and me  at her first and only Illinois basketball game. Until next time, Kenny Kenny Class of 2016 I’m in the Creative Writing program in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. I’m originally from Tampa, Florida, but I’ve been calling Illinois my home since 1998. I’ve lived all over the Northwest suburbs, from Palatine to Lakemoor to where I currently live back home, Mundelein.
