Classical Conditioning

Question: Write an essay onClassical Conditioning. Answer: Classical conditioning is a kind of learning which has a significant influence on the discipline of thinking in psychology called as behaviourism. This concept was discovered by Ivan Pavlov. It refers to the learning process through relationships between a stimulus which occurs naturally and an environmental stimulus (Rescorla, 2014). A very good example of it can be given with the help of an experiment conducted by Pavlov with dogs in which he discovered that they began to salivate when they were not supposed to salivate. Classical conditioning works by involving the creation of a relationship between two stimuli which results in a learned response (Ross, 2014). References Rescorla, R. A.
